How it works
You gather your items please make sure they are clean and any issues (holes or ladders etc) are mentioned as i will need to work round these.
Please email me or message me via Facebook messenger (sewstoppers@outlook.com) to discuss this first before you book in via the website using the booking system and just to have a chat .
Once you are happy you send your items to me (before your chosen week commencing date) with your name and email address/phone number inside so i know they belong to you and a form of contact details
Once your items arrive with me you will be notified by email or message and you will get a FREE consultation of what i can /can not do...please note I can only work with what is provided I don’t have matching fabric here I only supply the plain colours to compliment.
Once you are happy i Will then ask your permission to cut .
I charge upcycles by the hour and at the rate of £15.00 per hour for my services (this is for my trade and skill in this area it also includes any plain fabrics i use, elastic, poppers, zips ,buttons i may need to finish your item off.
Upcycles require more work than everything else i make as i have to unpick your items to make the most of the fabric.
Hours taken can vary and after your main item is cut i let you know how long it has taken and how long it will take to sew ,if there is fabric left over you then have the option to continue or for me to stop.
ALL LEFTOVER SCRAPS ETC WILL BE RETUREND UNLESS THERE IS NOTHING LEFT.
Once everything is cut and ready you will then be informed of total hours and and invoice will be sent (you can pay over time via paypal so please inform me if this is how you would like to pay) Once your invoice is clear you will be booked in and your order will be sewn.
You will receive Pictures and updates along the way too.
Once your order is complete you will receive final pictures and your order will then be wrapped and posted with tracking information.

* please note I have been getting an increasing number of messages requesting dolls clothing... Sadly due to CE testing I am unable to do this.
CE testing requires me to test something to make sure is is SAFE for your little ones to use/play with, but due to the upcycle process you can't CE test upcycles due to fabric content so therefore I am unable to make dolls clothing.
The safety of my customers and their children is paramount to me and I do alot of research.
Please make a note of this when you are purchasing online or with other people.
A CE certified item will have a certificate and by law you can request to see this.
